Prepping Your Skin for Your Big Day
As the excitement builds for your big day, finding the right makeup artist to create your dream bridal look can seem impossible. Every bride wants to walk down the aisle looking and feeling their best, and that’s where we, the skilled makeup artists, step in to work our magic. What if you could find someone who can not only create your dream bridal look with makeup, but also pampers and preps your skin with a rejuvenating facial beforehand?
When looking for a makeup artist...
Find an artist who understands your vision and focuses on enhancing your natural features. Look for artists with extensive bridal experience, a versatile portfolio, and glowing reviews from other brides. Tip: Book a trial session to see if their style aligns with your vision.
When looking for an esthetician...
Makeup works wonders on the surface, but glowing skin is the foundation of bridal beauty. Find an expert who can perform a facial that is tailored to your skin’s unique needs. A rejuvenating facial can transform your skin, preparing you to feel beautiful inside and outside, and an experienced esthetician will know exactly what your skin needs.
The perfect solution: someone who can do both!
Why settle for one when you can have both? A professional with dual expertise in bridal makeup and facials will know exactly how to prepare your skin for makeup application on your big day. Finding a makeup artist who also provides facials allows you to establish trust, build an ongoing relationship, and streamline your beauty preparations by receiving both services from a single professional. This also promotes seamless collaboration between skincare and makeup, as we know your skin’s needs and can tailor your wedding makeup accordingly.
Bridal Beauty, Inside and Outside.
Your bridal beauty process shouldn’t start on your big day. Begin preparations up to a year in advance to look and feel your absolute best. As an experienced bridal makeup artist and esthetician, I would recommend the following schedule:
Begin your search for a makeup artist and esthetician 9-12 months prior to your big day.
Contact 2-3 bridal beauty professionals from your search at least 9-12 months before your big day. Be sure to inquire about a trial session of bridal makeup.
Receive your first preparatory facial up to 12 months prior to your wedding, based on choosing a treatment series. The last preparatory facial can be done 1-2 weeks prior to your wedding.
No matter who you choose, be sure to find someone who recognizes and appreciates your unique beauty (and be sure to give them plenty of notice in advance of your wedding day!)
